The Monorail

La Riva del Fal is part of our family history. This 5000 square meter vineyard, surrounded by a cyclamen covered forest, was created by our great-grandfather in the early 1900s.

Positioned on slopes of over 30°, for many a year we tried to make the harvesting of grapes easier through a range of methods, by carrying baskets on our shoulders, boxes by hand, or by using a pipe system … until uncle Diego, a carpenter by trade, came up with the idea to build a MONORAIL!

It is from these grapes, hand harvested and transported to the valley in our monorail, that we produce our flagship wine, limited to just 5000 bottles, the 1.11 Fal.
